Wax & Threading

Waxing and threading are the two oldest hair-removal techniques still used in professional aesthetics — and at our Newmarket clinic, both are performed by experienced estheticians who specialize in precision work. Mitra herself does most of our brow shaping (a service many of our long-term clients book exclusively with her), and our team handles full-body waxing with techniques refined over years of practice.

Threading is particularly precise for eyebrow shaping and small-area facial work — upper lip, chin, sideburns, and stray hairs that wax can miss. Threading is also the gentler option for sensitive skin, reactive skin, or skin currently treated with retinoids that wax could pull off. Waxing is faster for larger areas (legs, arms, back) and produces longer intervals between sessions for most clients.
